Stephen J. Tissandier has served as this Court’s Magistrate since 1997.  The Magistrate’s primary duties includes handling Divorces, Dissolutions, Legal Separations, Annulments, Child Support Matters, Post Decree Motions, Domestic Violence/Stalking Civil Protection Orders, Bond Hearings and Garnishments.

Magistrate Tissandier has received degrees from both Xavier University (BA, History) and the University of Cincinnati College of Law (JD).  He was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1990 and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Brown County Bar Association and the Ohio Association of Magistrates.  He is also a member of the Brown County Law Library Resources Board.

Magistrate Tissandier was formerly in private law practice and is also a former Assistant Brown County Prosecutor and Brown County Child Support Administrative Hearing Officer.
